Today was the first day of school for the kindergarten students at Liberty Ridge Elementary Site 2. On behalf of those students, their parents, the building staff and our entire school community I would like to acknowledge that it would not have happened without the diligent effort of your project manager, Leo Fussy. We owe a debt of gratitude to Leo for his commitment to complete the project on time despite the short construction timeline and the setback from the collapse of the roof trusses. Leo pressed each subcontractor to condense their schedules and he coordinated the work flow to bring the project to completion and avoid a delay in the start of school.
We have recently completed three projects with KUE Contractors. First was our $3.5 million renovation of our Allied Health Building. The project was completed on time, under budget and met our expectations. The next two projects were done simultaneously. They consisted of interior finishing upgrade of our trades area and a new playground surface at our Day Care facility. Again, both projects were completed on time, under budget and met our expectations.
Our management company has worked with KUE Contractors over the last 15 years. During those years they have played an integral role in working with federally financed apartment buildings who received funds for rehab. Their competency with the endless paperwork involved during the rehab process was appreciated by all parties involved.We cannot express enough the professionalism and workmanship that each employee has given us over these years.
